Here we are at the sequel of Rest Stop titled Don’t Look Back and after watching it trust me I won’t. The movie takes place one year after the original but it’s practically a repeat with different characters. Now I will say you find out more of what is actually going on in this movie and how all of it started. Supposedly the family in the Winnebago picked up the driver of the truck and the mom starts flirting with him. Later on that night the husband catches the two having sex and they pluck out both of the driver’s eyeballs and bury him dead. Then he comes back from the dead and kills the Winnebago family! Later on in the movie you find out that there is some Indian legend that says if a person is buried without their eyeballs they roam the earth until the eyeballs are burned. You know all of this would have been nice to know in the first movie because I had no idea what was going on! At the end of the movie it still leaves you hanging and wondering but you’ll never know because after this movie Raw Feed was scrapped.

Now I will start off by saying this movie is slightly better than the original but it’s mostly because I knew more of what was going on. They explained things better and you got to see more than just a rest stop. You get to see more of the bus and a gas station that’s near by. The characters are played better in this movie and you see more of the driver. He doesn’t look scary but once you know what really is going on with him it makes it a little bit creepier.

This movie is still a huge disappointment but if you had to watch the original or sequel I would pop in the sequel every time. The sequel makes more sense of everything but then confuses you in other areas. There’s more gore which always makes a horror movie better. There’s a sense of purpose as the guy is going to find his brother that was in the original. All in all a slight improvement but not enough to make me watch it over and over. Honestly at first I wondered if I had watched it but I’m pretty sure I did a long time ago. Rest Stop: Don’t Look Back is not memorable and I will give it 2 out of 5 stars just for being slightly better.
